Promote the cultural growth of the city of Agropoli which must also become central to the world of cinema. With this premise, the Agropoli International Film Festival was born, an international cinema review that includes feature films, short films, documentaries, animated films and many other audiovisual products in competition. It starts on 04 and 05 February with On Line and TV screenings on the website www.agropolifilmfestival.com while on 06 February, always online, there will be the awards ceremony for the best live streaming films starting at 18.00. A real marathon of films from all over the world is scheduled to win the golden dolphin, symbol of the city of Agropoli. The filmic works are distinguished between feature films, short films, documentaries, video clips, trailers, experimental films, and come from the U.S.A, France, Germany, Spain, England and many other countries. The creator and artistic director of the festival is the Agropolese director Gianni Petrizzo, former creator of Castellabatefilmfestival, Sweete Life Festival and YMTV Festival: “Knowledge, comparison and cultural exchange through cinema – said the director – will contribute most to the promotion international city of Agropoli. On a tourism level, you will have the opportunity to attract film productions to the area and at the same time enhance art, food and wine and history, because cinema has the power to create synergies in various sectors. In the Festival – Petrizzo continues – it was supposed to take place in person, but for now we adapt to the emergency situation because we need to react and give signs of activity ”.
